Last week Senthil studio was teeming with hundreds of costumed support artists. Amidst that heavy crowd was Prabhu Deva in a folk dancer's costume. It was hard to identify him though. Also spotted was actor Sathyaraj dressed like ‘Periyaar,’ once again for a song in ‘Kalavaadiya Pozhuthugal’. There was one more debut actor Farook dressed like communist leader ‘Jeeva’.

'Vettaikaran’s team returned from Rajamundhry after a hectic schedule there. The unit is now spotted in several places in Chennai including Alwarpet and Adyar going on with the next schedule. The film’s heroine Anushka has completed her part in the first schedule and has flown back to Andhra Pradesh to concentrate on her Telugu assignments.

The 'Peraanmai' movie crew was out in Thiruvannamalai filming the final schedule with Jeyam Ravi and the girls. The team which got back to Chennai last weekend is continuing with the editing work simultaneously. The last schedule will be filmed in a very famous studio at Chennai next week. Last week top comedian Vadivel completed a separate comedy track for ‘Kanthasamy’ directed by Susi Ganeshan and produced by Kalaipuli Dhanu.
It may be recollected that Vadivel had replaced Vivek in the film, and in a way it was sweet revenge as his bête noire had recently replaced him in ‘Padikkathavan.‘
